$bbuserinfo different in 3.5.x?

Before I used to include global.php in my pages outside the forum catalog.
But now after my upgrade the $bbuserinfo code isn't global anymore...

how should I go about getting $bbuserinfo again? I am totally lost as to why it doesn't work... it does work inside the forum limits, such as templates and custom php codes etc.

Would appreciate help.

Currently I am for example including (/forum/)global.php from my /index.php.

$bbuserinfo works in templates only. in php files, you must use $vbulletin->userinfo .
