vRules
Administrators spend countless times pointing people to a thread that if not stickied, may get buried. Well vRules is their solution. This powerful mini-mod will add a rules.php page onto your vBulletin installation. It adds 2 settings, with 1 setting group, 5 phrases, 1 template, and 2 plugins. Now editing and pointing to your rules, is easy as pointing to a thread!
Install:
upload product
upload rules.php into your forum directory (root)
edit settings.
Thanks to Chris M for correcting some template evaluation problems.

Nice, made a new rules hack that deals with it in other ways than I've seen.

So this is basically having a php file that calls a template.
Then the template just calls "Page Title" and "Rules". It seems like it's way too basic TBH, sorry. :-\

So in your opinion a hack has to be all complicated and complex to be any good?
I think this is pretty awesome hack and makes things alot easier for alot of people.
Clicks install.

Yes, it should work on vB 3.5.4, it's untested for 3.5.4 though... so some unexpected problems may occur.

Simple, yes. But find some noob vB owner who wants a rules.php page and have them create their own. Thought so. Sorry to be a jerk in that sentence.

If you want something more complex, try this one:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?threadid=122998
It's 3.6.1 compatible, and has some useful options such as forcing members to accept the rules before they can post.

bbcentral, did anyone request that? no, so why post it? It has nothing to do with what was being talked about. If you want King Kovifor to put that at the bottom of the thread for a link to a more complex version then state, just don't post up something like that right in the middle when we see no reason for it to be posted. Its distracting.

Thank you a lot for the Hack , I like it very much , its very usefull , but I want to ask how I can have another rules1.php, rules2.php etc.. that I wish to use for another uses such archive, news etc..,
what I mean is to have rules.php, news.php, myarchive.php etc.. and every one had to be controled from the admicp as vrules (no mater if they will be controled from 1 option at admincp or for every one its own option)
hope you will help :) thank you

Too simple. There's a more sophisticated one (works with 3.6):

I apologise, I forgot to quote the message I was replying to:

Then I said:

Not off topic, not causing trouble, I was answering someone's question.
