Hi peeps

I have a need to increase certain members upload limit.
This i know can be done using usergroups, but as i increase
the users limits as and when i would have loads of usergroups

Therefore it would be a lot easier to have the option in the users
options to be able to increase the users upload limit...

how does this sound to anyone please?

maximum default upload limit is 2mb, it might be high check your ACP main page, it does say. you would have to contact your host. or if you have your own server. edit php.ini ( i think )

here:
administrator -> Usergroups - > select & edit the usergroup - > scroll down to "Attachment Permissions" - > Can Upload Attachments = Yes -> Space (in bytes) that a user's total attachment usage may consume (Set to 0 to not have a limit) Change this to the limit in bytes that you want each user in that group to have.

Hope it helps.

here some limits
350mb = 367001600
300mb = 314572800
250mb = 262144000
200mb = 209715200
100mb = 104857600
75mb = 78643200
50mb = 52428800
25mb = 26214400

Hi m8

thanks again for trying but, thisi have had to do for the time being (well create 1 goupe for each member i want to up the limit)

This method only does the members in the group, what i need is to be able
to raise the limit on users individually?

I am hoping that someone with the knowledge can code something like this?

Thanks again Smiry Kin's

You cant and why does it matter, having an limit of 200mb is insane anyways. but to allow people to upload more then that in insane..
