Hello.. I like vB.org's new look.. But I hav an idea abt the Modification Database System.. Currently vB.org use..
vB3.6 Add-ons
vB3.6 Template Modifications
vB3.6 Styles
But it wud b better if u use the old system I mean..
vB3.6 Code Modifications
vB3.6 Premium Modifications
vB3.6 Extensions
vB3.6 Plugins
vB3.6 Template Modifications
Forum Display Modifications
Forum Home Modifications
Profile Modifications
Thread view Modifications
Other Modifications

Thus user can find a hack very quickly n I do beleive this one is userfriendly.. Well wht u think guyz?

Thank you for your feedback.

We are aware that the current setup is not optimal (see also many other feedback threads). This will be changed in a few months time when we will redo our whole setup for modifications.

PS Splitting up the Code modification sections again into Extensions, Plugins, etc.. will very likely not happen. It is hardly very usefull for a user browsing for a functionality he needs, and it is only causing confusion when submitting new modifications.

Thats a pity. :(
I very much prefered it that way.

I always looked in extensions and plugins first.
I tried to avoid code modifications except as a last resort because of the problems that causes come update time.

I suspect that Im not alone here either....

agree 100% dude, by the way they don't care what we think...you have 100s vb license onwer complaining about the samething, still they don't take it under consideration..

i'm with the two above me, i try and avoid code customisations, splitting them was the best idea when that was the case.

however that said, you're all talented coders (well the coding team anyway) i'm sure we'll be able to apply filters.

Yeah I think that would look much better.
