Have you installed anything new recently?
In your config.php file, right at the top on a new line under <?php put
define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);
Then see if you still have the error. If you don't then it is linked to something that you have installed.

reupload a fresh copy of /admincp/index.php and see if that helps.

Did you use a proper text editor, cause it looks like you screwed up your config.php

I suggest opening a support ticket at vB.com via your members area then as this is persisting with cookies cleared and plugins disabled via config.php
Errors with the ACP are not as common as ones on the front end either.

I use HTML-Kit. It's free, and much better than opening them with Notepad.

I also use HTML Kit and it does a great job of not messing anything up.
Try redoing your config.php file and reuploading that

What you couldn't tell from the thread title that this was dealing with a problem in the Admin Panel? :rolleyes:
I use a built-in editor in my FTP.
