Using Custom Skin

I have a custom skin, but am having trouble getting it to work with the forum. I can upload the style, however I am having trouble getting all the buttons/avatars/logo working.

I have the xml document of the style and a folder that contains these folders: attach, avatars, buttons, editor, gradients, icons, msic, polls, ranks, rating, regimage, reputation, smilies, statusicon and a html document index.

I have tried uploading all the folder which contains all of this to my public_html/cpstyles folder. I have successfully uploaded the style, however am having trouble having all the buttons show. I have tried changing the image paths to properly correspond with the folder the image was in, but this did not work either.

Can anyone help me with this?

If you can see the image place holdes red x right click on it and see the url where they should be, them you will see whats gone wrong, all you have to do them is move the folders on the ftp..

Perhaps the whole style shoud be in a themes folder, or a style folder, you will see what i mean when you look at the URL...

For a start it aint the cpstyles folder you want that the control panel styles...
Do what i said above and you will be fine...

As a rule of thumb you should uplad the steyle folder to your forum(s)/images folder

but check the url 1st m8 and see....

try looking in your skins STYLE VARS, and see if the folders point to the ones you've uploaded, if not follow the instructions in bashy's post.

So Simple! Thank you very much for the help. I had it stuck in my head that I had uploaded my other styles a certain way, so I did not remember how easy this was. Thank you very much Bashy and Neo_Angelo. I am now very excited for my members to see the forum for themselves :).
