how about a hack to let people put their favorite links, viewable in the profile? so people could have favorites they could access from everywhere. :)
I was just going to ask for the same hack! About 5 min ago, i was looking at a friends yahoo profile, and thought... it would be cool to have fav links area in the profile... I still also want a notepad hack, like yahoos email notepad, its spiffy :)
The shortest way could be add them by hand as custom text fields, and add the function in the custom_text_filed template to check if is a url and link it.

lol im going to check these new (?) yahoos things. yahoo kicks major butt with cgi goods... *me bows*
Marl, is this custom_text_field that checks the urls and changes them to links? that would be very usefull indeed :)
I was thinking about 2 entries, Title and URL. There should be a new table in the database for storing title/url/memberid, i think. Sorting Alphabetically, or the user could choose an order for them?
some folders would be cool to, so the users could organize their links. then there should be a new field called "type", 0 for link and 1 for folder. maybe options for how many folders/links a user could have too.
