That login doesn't work for me, and why in the world are you still using 2.3? :P

Sorry, I just realized my error and fixed that.

I haven't had a chance to really familiarize myself with any of the new versions of vBulletin. The other admins and I are probably more comfortable with 2.3.9 than any of the new updates. *shrugs* If we had the time, we could probably transfer over but it just seems to be a bunch of trouble. We don't have any complaints right now as it is. The staff and I have discussed it, and decided against upgrading right now.

No problem bud. For the site topic, I think the design really matches the forums. However, I do wish you would change some of the link colors instead of making them that dark black color against a dark gray background make them a lighter shade..because they are VERY, VERY hard to see..I could barely login as well..the text is very hard to see on that dark shade of gray.

Thanks, it's been a work in progress. :]

I fixed the problem with the default scheme that you were talking about. It looks a lot better, though I think the other schemes that we have are fine. I forgot sometimes that my laptop's color settings probably look different than most... the greys were readable by me, but that's because my laptop's resolution is really clear. The text is now a light blue, that goes good with the grey. *nods*

Let guests view your forum. As a huge fan of the play/movie/music simply having to register to do a little reading on your forum to see if I wanted to join, would put me off.

I agree with Dean_C.

Don't worry, i still love 2.3.5 and was probably there along with one of the last people to switch over, and that was only to support customers heh. 2.3.x was and always will be legendary, especially when hacks take like 10 hours to install :p

Your site is decent. However, it still follows the basic structure and can use a bit more customization. Also, work on making the header a bit smaller in height and adding things to the left of it.

Alright, after waiting too long we decided to open the forums to guests. I'm hoping that the search engines like Google will pick up on the pages and we'll get more forum visits than we've been getting for a while. Thanks for the input guys, it's been a big help in sorting things out on TPO!

Edit:

The header that you see with that layout is supposed to be aligned to the right. Most of the other layouts align to the center, or to the left. We really haven't gotten any complaints about it looking bad, though mentioning that makes me wonder. :)
