What Downloader Modification does VBorg use?

Question in the title... I am looking for a good downloading modification so that I can distribute videos on my forums... The one that VBorg uses for their modifications looks very nice... what is it?

As well... would anyone recommend something else perhaps?

There are multiple versions of this mod:

GARS: vb.org installer/release add on (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=108515) (first you need to install GARS (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=108514) (Lite edition, free), you can only transform 1 forum to a release forum with this, if you want to transform more than 1 forum, you need to purchase GARS (http://www.thevbgeek.com/))

ecRelease (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=104153) (Beta, there are known bugs)

The one used here, on vBulletin.org, is custom coded for vBulletin.org only and not available for download.

Which do you think would be the best for having videos, plus 3 screenshots for each video... with the ability so that only registered members can download and possibly restrict bandwidth usage per day? Maybe a few photo galleries as well...

vB.org isn't using GARS + VBorg Add-On ;)
It's using it's own add-on for this, which isn't avaiable for the public. Those public mods are inspired by the system used on vB.org.

I would suggest you ecDownloadsII. It has got all features that you want and there aren't any big bugs (some small ones, but the next release wil fix a lot of them).

For a gallery mod, you can use for example PhotoPlog Lite (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=101368) :)

WHen you say GARS Lite can only be used on one forum... do you mean one VB? Or only one actual forumdisplay=#?

When you want to "gars" more forums, you need to pay for GARS Pro.

Basically I want to know if I can have subdirectories within my single GARS forum with the lite version. Or would those sub directories be considered additional forums? Frankly $60 is way too much I think for GARS pro...

It's the first one, for the second one you would need the full (not lite) version
