I have a pretty well modified board. The issue is that I keep getting down time. I have a VPS2 server through Verio... well it is through a company I work for that resells VPS2 servers. I had 64 processes available but kept having down time. I upgraded to 75 processes. I am unsure if this will be enough, I typically have 600 sessions per day, but pretty involved members (I have 50000 impressions per day. My questions for you are how many processes do you use on your board. Do I have an issue that is causing this?

Thanks
Joe

I have been watching my processes, I usually am down around 40-50... then I skyrocket all at once. Anyone have an idea? It happened at 9:00 and 9:20

What server tools do you have to see what cap you're hitting? Is it inodes/privmpages/something else?

no i was using top to see what the processes are. I know that I have a cap. I think I may have it undercontrol. Basically I think I was having processes that were continuing to run after people left, so in peak times, it was causing issues.
