Do they really have any benefit... besides hogging CPU? I mean, does having Similar Threads enabled give you a better search engine ranking? Do your users use them - would they miss them? I'm going for a minimalist approach to my forum style and this big ugly table is walking on a thin line.

Pros/cons? What do you think?
