Well, I finally went off my rocker and made a Duran Duran fan forums. It uses the approx skin with some modification of course.

So what do you folks think?

It's a clean style, but I would change the color of the backgrounds around so the dark is where the light is and vice versa.

I think your icons and buttons fit perfectly, and your logo is not too heavy.
