Hello,

at the bottom of the forums pages there is a "whats going on" section.

How can i incorporate that into the foot so that the info is at the bottom of every page in my vb board?

thanks,
Gamelandz

that'll require a plugin or file modification.

The "What's Going On" code is in the FORUMHOME Default Template.

It is between the <!-- what's going on box --> and <!-- end what's going on box --> sections.

You could try copying that part of the code and pasting it into your Footer Template and seeing how it works, but you should try this on a test forum, or Style that is not active in your Board before trying to do it to one the users can access.

It's always a good idea, if you don't have a test forum, to MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR DATABASE, before you start mucking with the code, especially if you have never done it before.

However, it has been suggested that just moving that code, in the particular case, from FORUMHOME to FORUMDISPLAY might not work. See post #14 here:

Actually, I believe what is wanted is the "other" hack referenced in this hack. This one puts it in the header. The author says:

There is also a nice looking variant plugin by calorie --> Forum Stats On All Pages(in Footer)

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=104591

which is where gamelandz wants to put it.
