Hey.
As some of you know in 3.0.x in Quik links displayed "Edit avatar". Well, while scrolling down the nav bar I noticed it was being blocked. And I thought it would be great to bring it back to 3.5.x
In the Navbar template search for
<!--<if condition="$show['avatarlink']"><tr><td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="/forum/profile.php?$session[sessionurl]do=editavatar">$vbphrase[edit_avatar]</a></td></tr></if>-->
And remove the cornered
<!-- & -->
codes.

Why is it blocked? :confused:
To answer this question, and pose one of my own..
What happens for those users who are not allowed to use an avatar? They will get a No Permission Error without knowing why.
(That is the reason it was removed).

They don?t see the link in the navbar. ;)
That?s not the reason.

navbar
Edit Avatar link has been removed from Quick Links. It left, it will continue to be present even when the user doesn't have permission to use predefined avatars.
Requires Revert? No
How about you get your facts straight before making incorrect comments, hmm? ;)

What a load of bollocks.
What is "bollocks"? I find no german translation.
[...]when the user doesn't have permission to use predefined avatars.
How can I do that? In the vBulletin Options -> User Picture Options -> Avatars Enabled?
bollocks

ie: Not true. :)
To disable a User's ability to use an avatar - AdminCP - Usergroup Manager - Edit Usergroup and deny Avatar usage.

Can Upload Custom Avatars - Yes or No
Can Upload Animated Avatar - Yes or No
There is no option for the predefined avatars. Hmmm...
Predefined avatars = avatars that I?ve uploaded (in the AdminCP). Am I right?
