It has been 3 days since vbhackers won the board of the month contest. Despite controversial issues regarding the win (which did indeed follow the rules, therefore not behind disqualified), is there a reason why there has yet to be an announcement?

Also, this is just a simple question which i hope will not be closed.

Why would this be closed ?

You seem to mention a lot of unnecessary information for a "simple question", is there something you are trying to imply

The Chief closed the poll the other day saying he would announce the winner, so I guess we are still waiting for him. The result is not exactly in question as you can see from the poll results. Since this is the first time we have run this then teething troubles are to be expected and despite the conspiricy theories you may come across, the answer is most likely that it's got a bit mixed up about who was going announce it.

The only information really that i mentioned is the controversy, and i mentioned it in-case it was that in which is causing a slight delay (staff talking things over). I don't see how A lot of unnecessary information was mentioned, or can be mentioned in about 3 sentences. However, sorry if it seemed that way. Feel free to edit that post accordingly if you think it necessary.

Thanks for the reply though, hopefully it is just a matter of who will announce it :)

There is no politics or controversy involved with a simple Board of the Month contest. :)

The winner will be announced as soon as possible. It is a holiday in the United States, which has caused some delay.
