PM IP log?

Hi there, I am wondering if it is possible to find out the IP a user has logged in with, but not used to post? For instance, one they have sent a PM from.

If anyone could point me in the right direction for this, I would be highly appreciative ^_^

Unless they post, no ip record is kept.

I see, do you know whether a hack is available for this to happen? As I've searched, but there were too many irrelevant results.
