[Serenity]

ThePiratesReef (http://www.thepiratesreef.com/) is a forum dedicated to help saltwater and reef aquarium enthusiasts learn and share experiences. We just pretty much have everything set up to where we want it, but as it grows I would like to add a glossary and an article section. I don't want it to seem to large and empty right now.

Some of the hacks we have installed are vbadvanced, vbgallery (now it's part of photopost),number of gallery photos in postbit and profile, personal stickies, quick registration, and a few other miner things.

So if you are into fish, please sighn up! I know there are plans for some contests to give away some fish stuff. We haven't decided on dry or live goods as of yet. We will be partnering up with Reef-City.com (http://reef-city.com/) so we can provide quality items at discount prices. They are starting an order pooling program, so that might be of interest to some people.

The style suits the theme of your forum nicely. The colours aren't to over powering which gives the style and graphics that compliment an inviting feeling. The forum icons (fish) are a nice touch as does most of the images which suit the style nicely.

The custom icons (esp in the what's going on area?) look nice and it's amazing how much better custom images look compared to the vb stock images which people normally leave on. It's good to see them replaced because 99% of the time these are normally missed and people tend to leave the stock images applied.

Everything looks prity much spot on. If I had to push the boat out and sugget anything is that I would re-colour the button set to a yellow (rich pastel yellow) and possibly insert/implement some aquarium related icons so that the buttons bring out the style.

Other than that everything looks nice. Goodluck with your site.

Thanks shelley. I plan on making more custom images like the buttons and chaning up the header a bit...give it some spice! Love that skin tho...nice and peaceful...reminds me of water :)

An excellent style which is perfect for your theme. A lot of hard work has gone into your graphics, and it really pays off.

You have a lot of forums, so I would keep an eye on them and hide any that are not being used for the time being. You can always add them back in again as it becomes more active.
