Currently I have 2 dedicated servers on ThePlanet (totalcontrol) and I'm thinking of getting a 3rd one. After reading about some bad experiences with ThePlanet, I'm thinking of moving to a new host.
I've been thinking about those 2: DedicatedNow - Prices are good, and heard service is good as well, but I see they only have operaton 246, wheareas ThePlanet has 265. Also, I see they only have regular Sata drives, and theplanet also has SCSI ones
The second is Softlayer.com - they seem to offer a lot - a good proccesor (operaton 270), sata drives or raptor drives.

Now a question regarding the drives - Is the speed different between scsi and sata worth the money? because the scsi ones are much smaller, and that can be a problem...same questions about the Raptor drives Softlayer has

Anyway, does anyone have any experience with those? or can offer a different host that will be good to my demands? (Should host some large sites with a few large PhotoPost galleries, a few VB forums, so I need a strong cpu, 3+ gigs of ram, 2-3 TB of bandwidth, and at least 250 gb HDs, all for around $400)

Thanks.

LayeredTech.com is a very good choice, I went for a special of the month and got a good one with an upgrade to a 250 GB HDD, 100 Mbps connection, and CPanel/WHM pre-installed.
