News Fader Emergency

Hello friends i searched the forum but the things i found was for the older versions of vb so my problem is i want to make news fader on my forum home and im using version 3.5.4 but im new in this stuff so if you guys help me out with this ill be glad thanx.

looks like there isnt anything specificly called a "news fader" try searching for somthing along those lines like "news on home" or "announcements'
