We are now running VB3-6-0 beta 3 here (http://alarmshelp.com/index.php)
Lets know what you think? :D

I think I would go with a style that is visually more appealing. I would also opt for colours that compliment the theme of your forum (say the colours of the irish flag) and somehow implement then intergrate them in to a style.
The logo text looks very jaggy and I would probably enable some kind of anti-aliasing just so the look smoother.
I noticed a nav menu that's situated at the top of the browser and follows you as you scroll. This could get annoying for the user after a while.
Like I said, i would opt for something in the way of a n irish theme and opt for colours that are more appropriate. :)
Goodluck with your forum.

everything Shelley mentioned above, plus you need to design a better navigation system, as the one that you have is too crowded looking, maybe consider making a dropdown menu, that way you would save some space and make the header a bit less cluttered. Other than that, everything else looks nice, good luck :)
