Hey guys, sorry for being such a newb, but I was curious as to what CHMod means? And how do I go about doing it? I want to get the arcades set up on my forums. :banana:

It means to change the permissions on a file or folder.

Your FTP software should have it in the right-click menu when you are looking at the files or folders.

777 means 'writable by all' as far as I know.

Owner Group Public
Write yes
Modify yes
Execute yes
