I only have one serious technical problem with my board.

Polls, people who know how, just delete their cookies and vote again, so often I have someone (don´t know who), who votes hundreds of times on the result he/she wants, and therefore ruin it for everyone else.

Is there a way to prevent the same IP to vote more than once?

I'm pretty sure a member cannot vote twice in a poll, unrelated to what cookies they may have set.

I have guest polls, and would like a guest to only be able to vote once per IP and cookie. Now if they delete their cookie, they can vote again.

You didn't specified which system do you use for polls, but vBulletin doesn't allow to an user vote twice in the same Polls...
You can always go to the 'Paid Request' Section and you may receive your answer ;)

System ? Just the built in poll system of vBulletin, guests can vote over and over again if they delete their cookies, this is what I would like to avoid by adding IP check to the polls, so that it would be much harder to cheat.

Yes, this is a problem when opening polls to guests. Opening polls to guests allows you to get many more votes than to not do so. But guests will just keep voting if the poll is important to them. An IP check would be optimal. It would not hurt to suggest this function on vb.com.

Just don't use guest polls and voila - problems gone ;)

Yeah well, some of us do want to enable guest votes - it should be possible to do an IP check on guests when voting.

not everyone has a static IP.

by logging someone's IP, you might prevent someone else from voting the next day, when that person gets this IP assigned

I can live with that, I still need this MOD if anyone is interested.

I dont think someone will do this. You have 3 options.
1. Wait someone do it.
2. Develope it you.
3.Requests For Paid Services (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=30)

You can change your ip, reconnect the modem or simple use proxys.

The solution is not found?
I too want to open the voting for the guests, but guests can vote many times.
