I am new in vB and but I urgently need to get my forum running would some minor customization.
After spending 3 days here and vbulletin.com I found the vB is much complicated than expected. And I also not able to access some important information and resourses before buying the license. After consideration I get my license today and start working on it. But it is still a mess with these concepts.
1. template
2. hooking
3. $postbits, and others alike
4. all those syntax like -> and =>
The first think I need to do is to display a table in the forumhome with a list of user name and reputation score. I know there is a mod of "top xx reputation" there but I don't know how to modify it to the table format I need. It is always hook to the online user table where what I need is a separate table at the left-center.
