Exclude From Daily / New Posts

Hello,

I am aware (since there were many requests like this before) that you can exclude forums by using:

search.php?do=getnew&exclude=1,2,3,4

However, I would like to have this hardcoded in search.php to keep the url shorter.

Maybe someone could help out?

Check out this hack, might help, lets every user choose what they want to exclude from the Daily/New searches:

I found a solution which is displayed in the attachment. Maybe it's useful to some people. It's basically adding a new plugin as the screenshot shows.
