Where is the info for the board url stored is it in a file or the db i am going to copy my forum db and file so i was just making sure when i got there everything would work

It is set under vBOptions > Site Name / URL settings

i mean where is it stored eg the db or the config file...

Ah, it's in the db. I'm pretty sure it will be in the settings table.
