View Full Version : Vertical Subforums?

Hello All!

I would like to solve the problem on how to make my Sub-Forums "Vertical" instead of "Horizontal" on my forum (http://www.beaututes.com/index.php?) page similar to this site (http://www.namepros.com/)

And also how do I actually get rid of the Sub-Forums wording like the example site I have shown above?

Much Appreciated if someone could answer these two questions!

ummm.. I can't see it since you have to be logged in to view posts on that site.

Ahh. A few template edits:

forumhome_forumbit_level1_post
forumhome_forumbit_level2_post
forumhome_subforumbit_post
forumhome_lastpostby
forumhome_subforumseparator_post

While I edited the templates maybe the hacks would be easier. :D

Thanks Bashy, I did it, but how do I make the text smaller?

Now thats above my head m8, perhaps you will need to use the smallfont tag, i aint sure, ya best off speaking to someone like peterska2 :)

Thanks Bashy, I did it, but how do I make the text smaller?

/me hears her name and comes to see what is going on

ok. I can't see what you have at the moment as your site is offline.

Can you let me know which of the two modifications that bashy linked to that you have used then I can have a look at it, along with how big/small you want the text (eg same size as time on forumhome or other)

Thanks for replying Peterska2! The site is open now ... let me know once you've review my question so I can close it and finish working on the site.

Well I used this one

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=91299&highlight=forum+css

I want the text about as small as the subforums used at www.namepros.com

I am currently working on them on a wide screen laptop, so I am not sure if it all looks good on a normal desktop computer.

I have tried, it looks smaller, but not sure if it looks good in front of an expert as you are!

Thanks so much!

Add this linefont: 10px verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif;to the CSS class .subforum li after .subforum li {
display:inline;and that will translate them to smallfont also.
