This is a basic motorcycle style I made. It uses carbon fiber on some of the buttons and title bars, etc. It has little motorcycle helmets for the forum icons, stuff like that. The style is dark, greys mostly, light blue highlights here and there.

Hey thanks! I'm very open to feedback, and more than willing to help people customize this style. I have subscribed to this thread, and check my email regularly, so I should usually respond quickly if anyone has any questions/comments. Thanks and enjoy!

Why won't it work with your site? What is the problem you are having? Oh wait, is it because the TYPE of forum you are running? That makes sense, I can't see a dark motorcycle theme on Parent Connection! Your theme works a LOT better for that! LOL!

No problem, and yea, I agree with you. If I was a parent, and I went to your site, and saw a black and grey theme, I would be a little worried! LOL!

If only i was still running my old Biker forum, yes I'm a Biker, but I got bored of that old site now and deleted the domain and deleted it from my server..

Thanks! I'm thinking of making some more motorcycle themes, what colors do you think are needed out there? I was thinking of a blue, yellow and white theme, since there are a lot of sportbikes with those colors. Also, black, red and white are common bike colors. What other color shchemes do you think would look good in a vBulletin sportbike forum?

Well, dont forget the flames or skulls my skin used to have it but i had IPB, just i could add vbulletin mods to it by the time i was finished lol

try a nice black skin but as the icons i see you have bikes, chage to helmets or something (descent ones)

I could probably make up some new buttons for the style, with dirtbike helmets and dirtbikes in it instead if you are really interested. All I ask is that you keep a small link to my website in the footer. If you are interested let me know, and I'll make up some buttons for a dirtbike style.

I have installed it as per the instructions and I can see it in the Admin CP in the Style Manager but.. how do I get it to display as the default (and ONLY) template / design for the forum ??

If I click on Motorcycle in the Style manager I can see it all working great, but if just go to the forum say from a link all I see is the standard default style ??

Please help...

AdminCP>vBulletin Options>Style & Language Settings>

Default Style> change it to Motorcycle, in the next box, you can decide whether or not you want your users to be able to change styles. Just hit save, and you're all done!

Also... you can now see it live at http://www.customfighters.com/forums

go down to the bottom left, and change the style to Motorcycle to see it in action! :banana:

Purple and Copper - the new Harley Fatboy Screamin' Eagle has these colours - I'm saving my pennies for one of those!! But seriously.... that would be a COOL scheme.

Thank you for noticing! Not sure what happened there! Anyways, I have updated the zip file as well as uploaded the individual button. It should be in:
forumroot>Motorcycle>Buttons>

Do you have a picture that has the bike with these colors in it? Then I could make sure it matches really well. :D

AB420 - thanks for the VERY prompt response - greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately HD have now stopped the Copper & Purple colour scheme - but they now have a Purple scheme out. If you want some ideas of the colours, have a look at the link above. This may give you a few clues.

Once again - thanks - excellent theme!! The Guys on my site love it and some the ladies said that they would use it because I told them it was a "Guy Only Theme" (yes I know I was asking for trouble!! LOL!!).
