Hey guyz,
I was thinking... I use the 'installed' function half the time for things I want to install, but haven't had time, or things I want more information on before I install. This way I get email notification of updates and it's really easy using 'Show Installed' to see any replies to those modifications... BUT, this isn't really the purpose... I have over 3 pages of modifications in my install page, but really only 1 or so pages actually installed. It's mind-boggling trying to work out what I haven't installed and why it's in that list...
so firstly, just out of interest, who else uses the install as a 'notification tool' as well as to know what you've installed?
so just an idea, have a 'Wish List' style addition to a User CP, and in modifications, have the 'I have installed this Modification', and 'Add this modification to my Wish List'... Both the Installed List and Wish List can be viewed seperatly via the User CP...
What do you guyz reckon?
This may also be handy to developers who see 100 or so people having it on wishlist all waiting for an update, might modivate them a little more ;)
I know there is favorites, which I used quite a lot, but with 3 computers that I use i'm always missing a few that are on another computer...
