Style "world-cup" renamed in "SOCCER"

Here my Style up-to-date to the world cup 2006 "SOCCER".

(whit PSD + Font)

Buttons in German + English (English installed) . If you want the buttons in german, upload the germans buttons into the folder:... styles/soccer/buttons and overwrite the existing files.

INSTRUCTIONS ON INSTALLATION::

- Extract ZIP folder.
- Upload folder "world-cup" into your forum images/styles directory. The path looks then as follows:.../forum/images/styles/world-cup.
- Log into your admin control panel.
- Choose Styles -> Download/Upload Styles. Under Import Style XML File, click on "Browse..."
- Find the xml folder (from the file you downloaded). Select the file that ends with .xml (there should be only one file).
- Click Import





UPDATE: I renamed the Style in "SOCCER" and changed the headers, since in Germany the term was protected here "world cup 2006" trademark protection legally of the Fifa. And in order to go to difficulties out of the way, change for the headers then. Whether the name is protected world cup 2006 also in UK or the USA or in other European countries, informs you please.

Thanks, I was me not sure whether a copyright is of this Logo. Here in Germany there were already some discussions because the FiFa all trademark laws which the Fifa concerns, for itself to have wanted. :cross-eyed:

Well using the Tidy W3C Firefox plugin tells me what I posted to be correct, although it seems to be a bit wierd not needing the closing cell and row, they must be getting closed elsewhere but where I dont know. I havnt installed it live its only gone onto a non hacked test installation so nothing else should be affecting it.

I have installed this template and to make it so all my hacks went into this template I added it as a child template, am I doing this right? Since I did that I have lost the navbar and also there is broken images and the images it is looking for are not in the file these images are

I looked in the Style, the grafics shaddow_top.gif and shaddow_button.gif, do not come from my Style. Can it be the fact that those from an inserted Hack from you come which perhaps in the Child- Style was not transferred correctly? You could try, the Style once again deinstall and new install again, or the Hack once again specially into the Style to build. Can you show me your forum, so that I can look?
Are the paths from the Style everywhere correctly? Show Pic.

I have just reinstalled the template and same problems

1. No Navbar
2. Broken images

The broken images are not from any hack I have installed as I havent any images on the parent style, this is the url I get on properties when I right click the broken images

I think I have sorted it, by the looks of things it was the parent template that was the problem I have now changed the parent template and all is fine, only problem is the background on the template now is the same colour as the parent template but I din't think that can be helped with it being a child of that template

I have with you looked, now seem everything correct to be. The Style World Cup is the Child-Style of the Style Mint. What isn't correct with that now? How was before?

Everythings fine with it now, no broken images and navbar is back, only 1 question really is there anyway I can change the background colour from light green to white without changing the background colour of the mint template if not no worries :)

Ah, I it saw, mean you the writing color? Those is now a little green. You can change that directly however in the Style.

Attempt it whether it goes that you change the color directly in the Style World Cup. I believe it go that the parents keep then his own colors.

Moment, I makes screen Shots of the Style World Cup fast because of the colors. I believe, the Style everything of the parents Style inherited.

With me it is in German, if you do not understand German, simply down on CSS name respects, so that you register that correctly. I an arrow rank-made.

You must change also still the other colors, as in the Sceen Shots. Then you have everywhere the correct colors of the Style World Cup.

That is always the stupid, if you provide a Child-Style that you must adapt then manually, since he inherited everything of the Parent-Style.

Ich habe dir einen Screen-Shot rangeh?ngt, damit du sehen kannst, wo du die Forenbreite einstellen kannst. Ich wei? aber gar nicht, ob das auch in dem Portal klappt, denn so ein Portal nutze ich nicht und kenne mich damit nicht aus. Aber versuch es einfach mal, in dem Style die Forenbreite anzupassen, damit er ins Portal reinpasst.

I did not try that out yet, because I did not updatet yet on 3.6 and tested that. Perhaps you can try, with installing the Styles, then the option ?Styleversion ignore? activate. Perhaps it goes. :)

I has a straight new Zip file attached because by renaming was a little confusing. :cool:

Download the new Zip simply again and installs again. I added also still the new Multiquote Buttons, which are new with the 3.6 thereby.
