Scores autoprune bug?

Having found nearly 9000 entries in the scores table in the database I set the config to autoprune after 7 days.

Fine, it brought the numbers down to 1800, but it also deleted all the high scores. My members are not happy. Now they have to stay up all night and play the games to get their high scores back.

I have now set it to record only highest scores, but is this overall highest score in any one game or highest personal score for each player in that game. The instructions are not clear on this.

Can the autoprune be made not to remove highest scores?

This is normal and working fine - the Highscores are the current top scores per Game. If results get pruned, other (fresher) Scores can become a current Highscore.

That is the intention of pruning Scores, to have competition all the time :)


The only result stored forever the the "best result of all time", that one never gets pruned

I see your point and it is valid. Thanks. However, if after 7 days scores get pruned and that includes the high score for a game, then there will be no high score for that game until the next player.
