Would it be simple to make it so that one forum in particular only the first post would count towards the users post count?

You mean, only new threads count as posts?

no...i mean only the very first post, doesn't matter how many threads or posts, your post count only goes up once...the first time you post in that forum

Possiblity: hook into the thread_subscribed feature.. or whatever it is that tells you that you have posted in the thread.

If that is true, set postcount increase to 0.

i'm not a coder...i'm more of a 'templater' so i really have no clue how to do that...

i'm working on an RP forum...where only posts in the RP forums actually count towards the RP post count...but i have the advanced welcome headers hack installed so it shows that you never post...even if you do an intro..so since i don't want people getting higher post count for posting in the intro forum...i need this...;)
