I've inserted a colum onto my forums following the intructions from here (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=101599)
And i can't insert a navbar that fits. it either pushes the 2 images apart and places itself there or pushes itself and the forums to the bottom of the colum image.
I was hoping to get a forum navbar like this (http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/J33322/Navbarhope.jpg)
Can someone help me with this please?

The one that you are trying there is for vB3.0.x and may not be totally compatible with 3.5.x. Here are a few that are wrote expecially for 3.5.x which are tried and tested.

Left column on forum home only (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=112704)
Left column everywhere (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=91888)
Right Column Everywhere (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=94495)
