Since this is the last communication (only, really) we had from the staff on the changes being discussed of late:
FYI, we are moving ahead with a Paid Mod directory, and discussing the best way forward with the Hack database as well. So things are happening.
And now Erwin has stepped down saying:
Being an Admin on this site has become impossible - it's one thing that I have to keep consulting Jelsoft as this is their site after all, but it's another thing that as an Admin I can't even implement strategies to get things done on the site because Mods disagree with it.
Could the 'staff' please confirm that Erwin's promises are still on track?

Leaving of an Admin don't change the plans and changes for the site.

Yet I somehow doubt it will be the same because Erwin did say that the changes he tried to implement was denied by the staff.
Therefore, this closely resembles square one.

Yeah, that's my fear. Can we hear from an admin, or a mod beside Marco? Since Marco's response is not clear to me.

The plans are stil there, at least to my knowledge as Admin, but as Erwins stepping down was a surprise for me as well, i cannot give any ETA on anythings
The main concern is to bring the staff back online, to be able to work on the next things. Sorry i cannot say more now, i have a lot to read since yesterday...

Could i ask some more questions? *scrapes the ground*
How does actually vBorg system work?
Are you all togheter as a group? Does the 3 admins have more to say when you discuss someting? Is the moderators involved?
Im just trying to understand how things work here, cose i get confussed lately.
Does not anyone of you get paid fore administrate this site?

The Administration and Moderators of this site are volunteers only, except for those employed by Jelsoft (Wayne, Zachery, Ashley etc) - However I believe that they don't get paid for providing support or spending hours on end on this site...
Decisions affecting the site are made 3 fold - Normally, the staff are alerted and included in the brainstorming section of the idea for vB.org, then the Administrators decide how to go ahead with it - Finally, if Wayne's input is required, he comes in and has the final say...
That is how I understand the system to work...

The three admins decide in a democratic way
Is the moderators involved?
-- yes on most things all mods are included to give suggestions and such, and even so the last descision lies in admin hand, if the staff majority is against or pro something we also did what the staff wanted, even if the admins aren't that keen on a special thing
--Does not anyone of you get paid fore administrate this site?
nope, noone get paid in the entire staff

Thank you fore taking time to answere me.
I cant really understand why vBorg not gets commision from vBulletin. Because, if it the Vborg dissapear. I have no use fore this program. Its all the good hacks and great coder, that made me and many other i know, pick this program.
And because there are many good helpers here, both admins, members, coders, designer and moderators. I hope vBorg gets out of this "turning" with the reputation in a good way.
