order threads in forumdisplay to date of first post , not last post in thread

Is there a hack that allows to order threads in forumdisplay to the date of the first post in every thread, no the last date in the thread?

i am making a mod which allows you to view The Thread Start Date in a column so if somebody makes it then they may want to add on mine as well...
