View Full Version : Auto update forumdisplay with AJAX

It'd be really nice to have some mods that do some of the things that this forum (http://www.blursoft.com/metaForum/) has, espescially having the forumdisplay page auto-update the thread list as new posts are made.

I tried doing it myself, but I'm not very good with javascript.

More ajax is not always a good thing the problem with this is it would possible be much more intensive and cause much more load on your server.

Yeah, I know it would increase the load. I still think it would be a nice mod though.

maybe only have certain forums auto update.

Why not just have the page refresh after 60 seconds?
