Very nice, works perfectly, thank you for sharing this. For those whom would like to show the Month, Day, and Year, rather than just the Month and Day, paste
F j Y
into the Date Format Field where you see
Format to use for the date prefixing.
You can find lots of date and time formats by following the link provided in the vBulletin Options for this plugin.

Again, thank you. It is simple little installs such as this one that really makes a board stand out imho -

When you post a new thread, it will show the title in the post itself along with a date format. See thumbnail number 1 below for an example.

The plugin comes with the Month and Day already in place, but not the Year. If you would like to change it from

May 16 - Your Thread Title
To
May 16 2006 - Your Thread Title
Go to your AdminCP-->vBulletin Options-->Scroll down to Auto Date Options and double click. Set it the way you see in my thumbnail image number 2 below for the Date Format.

As for the Forum(s) to add date prefixing field, this is where you place the forum ID of all the forums you wish this hack to show the Date Format in.

Example: Go to your AdminCP-->Forums & Moderators-->Forum Manager then choose which Forum you want to show the Date Format and click the GO button beside it to edit. There you will see the Forum ID at the very top, should look something like this, Forum: Your Forum Title (id: 1)

Then place the ID number only in the Forum(s) to add date prefixing field. For multiple Forums, place each ID number in the field seperating them with a comma.
Example: 1,2,3 etc...Dont forget to Import the Product first before anything else. Hope this helps, be well -

Simply put, it will add a date prefix to a new thread in a forum you specify. By default, it will use the format 'F j' where F is the month in words (i.e. May) and j is the day in numbers (i.e. 16). Try taking a look at date formatting (http://www.php.net/function.date) in the PHP manual.

I think its something wrong with my board because theres another hack that updates as the dates change but it changes very late.

Im talking 6 hours late
