Hi,

I've changed the admin folder in installation for security purposes (although now im starting to think that it was pointless because everyone can see the link anyways).

I've already had a problem installing one of the mods that pointed htaccess to the wrong url, and I had to fix it manually.

Now, I've just started working with vbulletin so im still in time to change this option and start from scratch with the default folder. Do you recommend I go ahead and start again?
Or is there some way to change the folder path back to admincp?

What do you guys recommend?

I have both of my CP folders changed. It stops a lot of automatic type scripting the looks for the standard folders. ;)

Just change the path in the config.php file for it. ;)

Yeah, I recommend changing them also...and no, everybody cannot see the link to them. If you're referring to the footer links in the bottom right, everybody cannot see those, only administrators/moderators can see the Admin and Mod links.

Just change the name of those directories in the config.php and vBulletin will handle the URLs to those directories after that for you. And, yes, I recommend it highly. ;)
