removing sections of forums

I want to remove the "Display Options" section, the "Posting Rules" section and the "New Posts", "No New Posts", "Thread is Closed", etc. icons.

What do I need to remove? Is FORUMDISPLAY the only template I need to edit?

I haven't done much editing of the templates, I don't want to accidentally delete something and screw it up.
