I have no knowledge of making this kind of icons, but i have a suggestion that would make them even more appealing to me:
You now have for the "moving" icons, 2 states the outer circle parts can have (hmm seems i am not so good in this design talk ;) hope you understand). My guess is that the intention was to make them seem to rotate, but to me it looks now like they are just blinking. Maybe make it a 3 state, so they would seem to rotate.
Lol i really hope you understand what i mean.
Hmm maybe example:
- | - | - (this looks like just horizontal and vertical blinking in turn)
- \ | / - \ | / - (this looks like rotating)

Maybe you won't have to. I might be in the process of building a "comic style" to compliment the graphics in the (visual curve series). That said, I loathe styling so it may take a while to start. In anycase, If I should manage to pluck up the courage to start it and finish it I'll let you know.

The status icons are still a W.I.P even though they are released, I still class them as a w.i.p to me. So, any suggestions to improve them are greatly appreciated. The 3 state animation certainly does sound appealing and I'm sure I will give this a go today. All I would need to do is add another ring and chop away at the path so there's literally 3 rings with each one animating to give the rotating effect you suggested. I'll see how it goes in photoshop and if everything runs smoothly I'll post a few previews before submitting a final release.
edit: Updated the first post in this thread with a 3 state animated version.
