"Ignore Thread" for vB 3.5.x?

I tried a search to see if I could find it, but I didn't come up with much.

Has anyone released a hack to allow users to ignore threads on vB 3.5.x versions?

I know there was a beta out there for 3.0, but I haven't seen anything for newer versions.

AFAIK nothing like that has been released. It would be REALLY nice to see and would solve so many problems for so many boards. If users could "ignore" a thread so it never showed for them... along with an "Ignored Threads" link in the UserCP so they could "un-ignore" later on... that'd be hella cool.

yeah, i need it really bad. ;-) some users are complaining about (in their sight) dumb threads.
