I saw a hack in the 2.0 beta releases forum that did this -- any chance of getting it ported or something similar being created?

Impex for 3.5.x will import another database into the existing one. You can import vB 2.x, 3.0.x, and 3.5.x as well as a large number of other forums softwares.

You can get impex from your members area at vB.com.

Oh really? Sweet -- thought ImpEx was only for software conversion, thanks Peter, I'll check it out.

I've used it a few times for vB mergers, so I can confirm that it works perfectly merging 2 or more 3.5.x boards, and a 3.0.x into a 3.5.x
