Well, I think it's a pretty good style and although some don't like a narrow width design, it looks good. You may want to take it a little farther and customize the rest of your graphics and logo. The amount of forums is good..not too many as a new site. All in all I give it a 7 out of 10 ;)

It looks good... there are a few changes I would make though.
1) On the home page, make it so there is only one menu. Two makes it looked too crammed. I don't mind narrow styles, but when there are 2 menus like that - it's a little annoying.
2) The gradient on the alt1 and alt2 is a little tacky I think. A solid color would be much better. But it looks nice on the menus and welcoming header. But it just doesn't "go" with the alternating colors.
Other than that, looks good.

I'm thinking you might get shut down though... software, movies, etc... seems like a warez site?

looks good.
I'd get a logo up, and also center the ads in your sidebar. Possibly stagger the login box to make the column narrower and the forums wider too.
You might want to consider having a section that guests can view as not many people will register, let alone pay, for something that they can't see any of.
