I had problems that were never fixed with the last upgrade and now with this one after the upgrade ALL the games I had installed are gone. Only games that are installed now are the default games. :disappointed:

Which vBulletin-Version do you have, what exactly did you do ?

There definitive is NO code anywhere to uninstall Games while installing/upgrading!

Maybe you uninstalled and reinstalled the Arcade instead of upgrading ?

If you need further assistance, I am ready to help :)

Damn.. This got me scared. I wanna upgrade, but I definitely don't want to lose games or high scores.

Are there any files I could backup to save the high scores in case something goes wrong?

Do a Database-Backup to save everything, but be sure that it will work fine if you follow the upgrade-instructions ...

same update-procedure as all the last times :)

Doesn't full database backup take a while? i've never done it myself, usually my co-admins have done it.

I think I'll take the risk if I dont see these topics any more. :)

It is quite normal to do a full backup before changing anything in a forum ;)

How long does it usually take? I'm willing to do it if it doesn't take too long..

First do a Backup ;)

The rest is quite simple:

upload and overwrite all (!) PHP-Files from Archive's /upload-Folder
if you are using vBulletin 3.5.x update the Product "ibProArcade":
Enter AdminCP
Open Menu-Group "PlugIn-System"
Click "Manage Products"
Click "Add/Import Products"
Enter the Path to the Product-XML-File: ./includes/xml/product-ibproarcade.xml
Set "Overwrite Product" to YES (very important, this does the Update!)
Click IMPORT
Confirm the Import of that Product
if you are using vBulletin 3.0.x use the Installer:

upload /installer.php to your forum's root
run installer.php
delete installer.php from your forum's root
you're done :smoke:Normally it takes a few minutes and you are done ...

BTW @stifmeister2 you should upgrde to vBulletin 3.5.4 aswell !

If I upgrade to 3.5.4 do I lose all installed products? (ibProArcade, Shout Box)

No problems here, upgrade took me about a minute.

If I upgrade to 3.5.4 do I lose all installed products? (ibProArcade, Shout Box)

You might have to do minor edits.

Upgrade went well. I have VBshout in there and it didn't affect that at all. Should it have?

No, he was asking about upgrading to another vb version.
