I was surfing over at the LOTRonline ite and saw this really cool effect they have.

sorry..i should have specified a bit more.. go to the site and jsut hit any random thread..you should notice a difference on how it comes up

Oh I see. Are you refering to the fading effect? That effect only works in IE. When I view FF, it doesn't work.

Other then that, looking for a free java fading script.

i found the answer if anyone wanted to do this..

I added this somewhere in the header Include template

<META http-equiv="Page-Enter" content="blendtrans(duration=0.25)">

Its annoying as all hell and I will never visit that site again.
I viewed the site first with FF and my first impressions were that it's a visually rich site and I love the design they did with the Wiki script. :cool:

Viewing the site with IE my impressions were "Darn, that flashing is annoying. Sometimes it fades, sometimes it 'blinks' the screen." :mad:

I'd visit again but with FF.
