Box with latest post beside the forum

I am looking for a script, where I can put a box beside the forum table and show the lastest posts. I found one script where I can show latest post inside the forum design, but I would like it in a box like this:
http://mb.pokerforum.com/ <- see the location of box PokerForum Blog.

Any idea how to solve this or any scripts?
