Depends on what you got.

ibProArcade-Games come along as .TAR Archives. Upload those Archives to /arcade/tar/ in your Forum, after that just enter the AdminCP and you should see those Games in ADD GAME for automatic TAR-Installation.

Same works with original v3arcade-Games (not repacked ones who miss the .php-File), just put those in /arcade/zip/ and they should appear in ADD GAME Menu :)

/home/bahistat/public_html/vbulletin/arcade/tar is write-protected. Please change CHMOD to 0777 via FTP.

Would V3 Arcade games work on it?

Thanks

Yes, ibProArcade is compatible to v3arcade-Games.

But there are some Game-ZIP-Archives and -Collections around that got repacked and miss the original v3arcade-PHP-Setup-File.
Those ZIPs can't be automatically installed with ibProArcade, but if you install them manually they work :)

I am having a CHMOD issue a little different than pirlanti. I do have the correct permissions & am trying to install 100 tar games at once. Instead of arcade/tar like it should be installing to, it is telling me that
arcade/tar/arcade/tar is write-protected. Please change CHMOD to 0777 via FTP. There is no arcade/tar/arcade/tar. Just arcade/tar. I even tried adding the second arcade/tar folder & chmod it to get around the issue. I then had to create a images & gamedata folder as well. Once I did that & CHMODed those, it started giving me the same error message, but on
arcade/tar/arcade/tar/arcade/tar

Edit: I can go on the admin cp & install each game individually just fine. Just a real pain in the buttocks when you got a lot of games you want installed.

I have a .zip file full of games... How would I go about installing them? My thing is, I dont want to install ALL of them, just like 2 or 3 of them. The .zip file has many .zip files within it for each game, those .zip files have images, the .swf and .php included... How would I install individually?

BTW, I have v3arcade.

Unzip the files that you want to install the games for.

Now upload the 4 files in the zip to

forumroot/admincp/games

Now go to your admin panel and in game tools install the games.

I'm sure I've answered this for you on another thread :D

Good luck.

Those ZIPs can't be automatically installed with ibProArcade, but if you install them manually they work :)

couldn't find it though I'm sure its been posted...
can someone give a step-by-step on how to manually install a game?

it would be very much appreciated. :)

to be specific:eg:

I have a yeti game with the following files:
---------------

/images/
yeti51.gif (big icon)
yeti52.gif (small icon)

/games/
yeti5.swf
yeti5sc.swf
yeti5send.swf

/admincp/
yeti5.game.php

---------------
no idea where to put them, or what to do with them (what to name the GameName, gname, background color etc). :(

Wheres the game tools located in the admin cp?

Maybe they mean the arcade/

and not admin/

That's what I'm hung up on now.
