Administrators are not affected. Use another nick which is not in "Administrators" group to test hack.
For those who have other problems, be sure that your "newthread" template contains these three lines:
$navbar
$postpreview
$footer

okay then something else is wrong obviously...just wanted to make sure that they were there....i would say it might be conflicting with another mod? but i have like 70-80 mods....all pretty popular one too so maybe its not that...
sorry i thought i had it figured out ;)

Then I see no reason why it wan't work... Plugins included with product searches for those lines in "newthread". If it's there then plugins must work.
Did you tried this hack with default style?

I'm getting this on bottom..
Uncached templates: cyb_preventnewthread_search1 (1)
Uncached templates: cyb_preventnewthread_search2 (1)
Any way to modify so the templates are being cached?
Thanks..

thnx 4 update...Updated!
looks very good !
May I have a feature request?
I wish to have excluded some forums from forum list. I think it would be good to include in forum settings wheter they appear on forum-drop-down listo for newbies.
(do not really want to use per usegroup permission, but that will be also the way...)

same problem with firefox 1.5x here
No problem with IE no problem with firefox 1.0.7
Might be problem AJAX related?
I think that form should start with empty forum category, because currently newbies do not open rollout menu, but just proceed and they post in whatever forum they currently are...
---------------------
plus still the problem with FIREFOX!!!
