The Avatar hack

What is the hack to let epople select Avatars (personal photos) ? Is it a hack or do you just have to muck around with the settings? plz help!

there is a hack for the 1.1.5 or if you upgrade to vB2 Beta 3 it is included as standard, along with many other features.

If i upgrade to the 2.0 version, will i loose all of the settings of my last board?

what do you mean by settings?
if you are on about the layout... then yes, when you update it will look exactly like this forum here.
but all your old templates will be saved for you to look back over if you needed to.

So i will loose all of the colours ect...?

they will be changed to these colours, but all of your old ones will be saved for you to look at.
You can then change them back within a couple of mins

i need to know two more things:

1: If i upgrade will i loose all the posts that have been made on my site?

2: Does version 2.0 have a personal messaging service built in?

Will i be able to keep that layout if i upgrade? cause i dont really like the smilies ect...of version 2.0...Will i be able to change them?

If you don't like any of the new images just don't overwrite your old ones when you upload the files.
