refferal links

I have seen on a other site that rather than enter the name of the user who you found the site from there is a link for the user as well is this a mod or have i missed some thing?

i would like to give the members a chance to add links to the site with a refferals contest and some have asked about given a link so it reffers them?

i use this mod on my forums...it makes it easy for each user to know their referral link by listing it at the top of their usercp
