How do I edit a 'hook'?

I am trying to install a plugin and part of the instructions are:

Edit the main hook - the instructions are all inside the hook itself, in the top half. Follow the instructions carefully!

Where do I find the main hook?:(

The instructions for the hack say:

--Import the XML into products. (admin cp -> Plugin System -> Manage Products -> Add/Import Product)

Go into the plugin manager, and edit the hook it added.

AH thank you! I had been going to the Manage Products area of the Plugin System and there was nothing to edit. :)
